Mark Schwarzer (born 6 October 1972) is an Australian international goalkeeper who currently plays for Chelsea F.C.
Chelsea career[]
On 9 July 2013, it was confirmed that Schwarzer had signed a 1 year contract with Chelsea, after being released by local rivals Fulham. Schwarzer took the no. 23 jersey for the 2013-14 season, last worn by Daniel Sturridge.
Schwarzer made his debut on 24 September 2013, keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 League Cup win over Swindon Town. He also made his second appearance in the League Cup, once again keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 win away to Arsenal.
